Source Naturally & Responsibly
We source our materials directly from fallen trees at local farmlands. At our core, we believe in preserving the delicate balance between nature and craftsmanship. We carefully select fallen trees from nearby farmlands, ensuring that no living trees are harmed in the process. By utilising timber that has naturally completed its life cycle, we embrace the concept of sustainable sourcing, minimising our impact on the environment.
Care Notes
Remember to follow these care instructions to keep your wood items in good condition. If you have any further questions or need more specific guidance, feel free to ask!
-
Liquid Exposure: Natural finish items should never hold or be immersed in liquid. This is to prevent damage to the wood and potential warping or staining.
-
Coated Items: If your wood items have a protective coating that is advertised as liquid safe, they can be used to hold liquids without risk of damage. However, it's always best to check the specific instructions for the coating used on your items.
-
Hand Cleaning: Wood items should be cleaned by hand and should never be put in the dishwasher. Dishwashers can expose the wood to excessive heat, moisture, and harsh detergents, which can lead to damage and deterioration.
-
Food Safety: All items are food safe, meaning they can be used to hold food or food-related items. However, it's still important to clean them properly and follow hygiene practices.
-
Beeswax Furniture Polish: Every 6 months, apply a beeswax furniture polish to your wood items using a soft cloth. This helps to nourish and protect the wood, enhancing its natural beauty and prolonging its lifespan. You mentioned that a beeswax sample will be provided at the time of purchase for the first treatment.
